Job description

JOB SUMMARY Calero, the leading technology expense management solution for global enterprises, is looking for a Channel Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for the partner. Reporting to the SVP of Channel Sales, you will play a critical role in leading and developing the company's channel relationships across our direct reseller, referral partner, and value-added distributor partnerships. You will coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing positive working relationships with partner executives to grow business and owning the delivery of the product roadmap through defining requirements and directing enablement resources. This position is available to candidates in the CENTRAL United States. The ideal candidate is located in Chicago.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES Work directly with prospective and existing partners to develop strong account relationships that drive partner enablement and revenue.Work with manager to plan sales and partner revenue development opportunitiesWork with partners to develop sales proposals, quotations, and pricingEducate partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offeredProvide sales and logistical support for channel partners located across the United States, Canada, and EMEAAdapt to dynamic changes related to sales opportunitiesArticulate the value of Calero's solutions and align them to the customers' critical business issuesEDUCATION / SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONBachelor's Degree in Business, with an emphasis in Marketing or SalesEXPERIENCE5+ years working in Channel Sales positionSalesforce CRM experience is preferredProven experience in managing channel partners in a commercial software environmentProven proficiency in analyzing, reporting, and improving key sales channel performance metricSelf-driven to manage a diverse workload and competing deadlinesSKILLSMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Organizational and time management skillsAttention to detailAbility to work independently and meet tight deadlinesCOMPETENCIESExcellent verbal, written communication skillsLead by example by maintaining strong ethics, values, trust, and integrityHigh emotional intelligence and critical / forward thinkingAction oriented, results driven, and ensures accountabilityNegotiating SkillsCustomer FocusedQuality decision makingOrganizational skills and planning / priority settingExcellent ability to work collaboratively and confidentially with all levels in the organizationCalero is an equal opportunity employer. The salary range for this position is $90,000-$150,000 annually. It is important to Calero that potential candidates for this position understand that compensation depends on numerous factors including the geographic location where the role will be performed, skills required, experience, complexity, travel, and market rate. Calero aims to reward performance and attract top talent with competitive, fair pay and benefits. Please note that the top of the salary range represents exceptional, and / or senior-level positions, that meets all required qualifications. Actual offers take candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience into account. Base Pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
