Medical Assistant Float (MP)

Reports to the Practice Manager and works under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Educator. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs various clerical and patient care duties. Responsibilities include assisting the Physician / Provider in support of medical care, performing various procedures, answering the telephone, admitting and discharging patients, and performing data entry. Is responsible for performing a variety of duties in a float capacity including traveling to multiple physician practices as needed / scheduled.
