Medical Assistant Senior

This is a multi-specialty pediatric clinic; therefore, this employee must be comfortable with children. This Medical Assistant Sr. will rotate up to 10 different specialties, and they could see up to 60+ patients a day! This employee will be cross trained on front office duties. This employee would need to be comfortable with traveling to the Harrisburg, Chambersburg, and Lancaster offices depending on the staffing needs of the office. Must have reliable transportation and milage reimbursement is included. Schedule : Monday - Friday from 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m., no weekends or holidays! Responsibilities :
Medical Assistant, Senior
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Successful completion of Medical Assistant Program or equivalent hospital program (LPN / RN / EMT) OR successful completion of certification examination (AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA) OR at least 1 year of patient care experience required. Must be responsible and demonstrate proficiency in three practice category specific tasks. Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities.
