What You'll Do

Provide professional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help deter and report any suspicious behavior or activities.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of observations, incidents, and / or actions taken during patrols and while on duty.

Collaborate with law enforcement and / or emergency personnel as needed, following established protocols for government locations.

Enforce access control procedures to help deter unauthorized entry and / or activity within restricted areas.

Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, reporting any potential hazards or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must provide DD214 with honorable discharge or associate degree or 60 college credits or police academy certificate or corrections academy certificate.

State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
