Assembly – II

4 x 10-hour workdays per week)

This position is located in our brand-new Portland, CT facility

Join the Birdon team and help ensure USCG boats are safe and reliable!

Our Assemblers are an integral piece of our work on a daily basis. Some of your daily functions will include :

• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates and reading measurements.
• Completion of production and quality forms.

If you have at least 1 years’ experience is a mechanical assembly environment, possess a High School Diploma or GED and ability to read blueprints and schematics, we want to talk to you!

The levels of this position are differentiated by increasing degrees of responsibilities, years of experience, professional skills, and quality of work. The level in which you qualify will be determined upon interview evaluation. Hourly pay rates are fixed.
