About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our onsite Maintenance team in Grayling, MI. This role serves as a backfill for an internal promotion and will operate within a small, highly collaborative, non-union facility. The right candidate will bring strong industrial electrical expertise and the ability to support mechanical and instrumentation controls (I&C) technicians across a five-floor plant with no elevator.

- Small maintenance team of 5 (3 Mechanical, 2 I&C Technicians)

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipmentSupport I&C technicians performing reactive “fix-it-now” workSchedule and execute preventative electrical maintenance activitiesAssist with emissions equipment operations and testing equipmentCollaborate with vendors and oversee contractors during outages or project workMaintain personal inventory of tools, parts, and replacement componentsWork independently and alongside other technicians as neededFollow and learn site-specific lockout / tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety protocolsRequired Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferredStrong industrial electrical background (required)Significant hands-on experience in the electrical field— not a trainee or entry-level roleAbility to independently troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical systemsFamiliarity with industrial hazards and safe work practicesComfortable working in a small, collaborative, non-union plant environmentAble to physically navigate a multi-story facility without an elevatorExperience complementing I&C technicians is a plusIdeal Candidate
