Job description

UPMC Western Maryland is seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to join our well-established team. This position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional inpatient OB care while working in a collaborative, state-of-the-art environment.

Position Highlights

  • Schedule : Full-time position with a 14-day-per-month, 24-hour block schedule, designed to provide a balanced work-life approach.
  • Scope of Practice : Focused on inpatient OB / GYN care, including triage, deliveries, emergency GYN procedures, and postpartum care.
  • Team : Join a collaborative group of experienced physicians, midwives, and advanced practice providers.
  • DaVinci Robot : Access to advanced minimally invasive surgical technology.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary : $360,000 with no additional call requirements.
  • Sign-On Bonus : $20,000.
  • Relocation Allowance : $10,000 to support your transition. (If applicable)
  • Malpractice Coverage : Occurrence-based, ensuring peace of mind.
  • CME and Licensing Allowance : $3,000 for CME, plus $2,000 for licensure.
