Position Summary : The Sr Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting maintaining and enhancing the organizations financial systems with a focus on ensuring data integrity process efficiency and alignment with business objectives. This role partners with Finance IT and business stakeholders to analyze requirements implement solutions and provide ongoing support for financial applications (such as ERP EPM and reporting tools).
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as a subject matter expert for financial systems (e.g. IBS / Iptor Oracle ERP EPM SAP Hyperion etc.).
- Analyze design and implement system enhancements integrations and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to gather requirements document business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Manage and support data integrations user access security and reporting within financial systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Develop and maintain documentation including process flows user guides and training materials.
- Lead or participate in system upgrades testing and deployment activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls SOX and audit requirements.
- Provide end-user training and support for financial applications.
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations.
Technical Skills :
Experience with the IBMI / AS400 ecoystem including applications from the IBS / Iptor family of products.Experience with data extraction and integration.Proficiency in SQL for data analysis reporting and troubleshooting.Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools including Snowflake and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.Familiarity with ERP / EPM systems (e.g. IBS / Iptor Oracle SAP Hyperion Workday).Understanding of data integration reporting and security administration.Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems or related field.7 years of experience in financial systems analysis administration or support.Strong knowledge of financial processes (GL AP AR FP&A consolidations).Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.Key Skills
