Are you passionate about helping students succeed? Join our team as a part-time Student Support Specialist and make a real difference in the lives of students working toward their educational and career goals.

The part-time Student Support Specialist will provide services and support necessary to assist students in completing educational activities. The services are designed to help students connected to the community college with the intent of graduating with a career-specific credit or non-credit bearing certificate or associate's degree.

The KEYS TANF / SNAP Student Support Specialist will :

• Contact the students and assist them in the enrollment process and review the participation requirements.
• Enroll the student in the KEYS program by both accepting the referral in CWDS and conducting face-to-face / remote interviews within seven calendar days of the referral date.
• Obtain the students' written consent to share grade transcripts, schedules, financial aid awards with the County Assistance Office.
• Provide data determined by the Department of Human Services that will be used to evaluate student and process outcomes.
• Assist students with renewal and or applying for benefits.
• Assist students with renewal and / or applying for financial aid.
• Weekly case management show casing tutoring, learning resources, career services, counseling, accessibility services and enrollment management.
• Upload and update students' KEYS Service Plans with emphasis on career-specific high priority occupations.
