Electro Mechanical Technician

Gpac just partnered with a rapidly growing Manufacturing company seeking an  Electro-Mechanical Technician.

Building and wiring electrical control panels using electrical schematics.

Performing machine wiring per machine drawings and / or electrical schematics. This will include mounting and aligning sensors, and on machine cable routing Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM / ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
• Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials.
• Understanding for AC / DC controls circuits as well as 3 PH motor control.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in automated industrial control panel building and equipment wiring.  Power and hand tools (e.g. wire cutters, crimpers, soldering irons, etc.), fabrication machinery (e.g. drill press, grinder, etc.), pneumatic tools, and using a multi-meter.
• Familiarity with electrical control system components (e.g. breakers, disconnect switches, relays, timers, safety circuits, etc.).
