QC Lab Technician

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position will work closely with QC / manufacturing to maintain the highest level of quality for all products. Role and responsibilities will include performing QC testing, reviewing production tickets for accuracy, documentation of testing results, and other R&D / laboratory support functions.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Adhere to and follow all safety rules.
• Follow all Standard Work Instructions and Company Policies.
• Maintain the 5S standard in the Quality Lab and Offices
• Perform analysis of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
• Recommend batch corrections to ensure product conformity.
• Alert supervision to product quality, process quality, or machine operation concerns.
• Place non-conforming material on quality control hold for further review.
• Accurately record testing results using appropriate quality control forms and systems.
• Release finished goods in company systems.
• Safely manage and handle hazardous materials / waste as part of lab sampling.
• Create and post basic product quality reports.
• Scan and save quality records in quality control systems.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
