Must-Have :

• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
• First-timers accepted
• Weekend requirement : Minimum every other weekend, may exceed to meet unit needs

Description :

Float Pool ICU Nurse position available.

The nurse will be required to float to various units as needed.

Ratios are typically 1 : 2.

ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Experience with various critical care procedures and equipment is necessary.

Candidates must be flexible and able to adapt to unit demands.

Expected to work a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per contract.

Daily census is approximately 27 in the ICU.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Successful candidates will have experience managing critically ill patients and be skilled in advanced monitoring.

All travelers must be willing to float between facilities within the state.

Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.

Must commit to working during designated holidays.

Completion of required training modules is necessary prior to starting the assignment.
