Job Title : Manual Machinist (Lathe) Location : Trinity, AL Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM Occasional Saturdays : 3–4 hours as needed (rare) Pay : $20–$30 / hour (based on skills and experience) About the Role : We are a small, locally owned job shop in Trinity, AL, seeking a skilled Manual Machinist with strong experience operating manual lathes. This is a hands-on role focused on producing custom parts for a variety of industries. While the primary responsibility is manual machining, there may be occasional work on a CNC grinder.

Key Responsibilities : Operate and maintain manual lathes to produce precision parts Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Set up machines, select tooling, and make necessary adjustments Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with a small team to meet production goals Qualifications : Proven experience operating manual lathes in a job shop or similar environment Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Proficient in using precision measuring instruments Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 / hr.
