As a Travel Mammography Tech, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures including mammography, select proper positioning and technical factors, and ensure images are clear and of good quality. Your responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, using radiation safety measures, and maintaining patient records and equipment. Communication with radiologists and other healthcare professionals is essential, as is staying updated on the latest advancements in mammography technology and techniques.

Recommended qualifications include graduation from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program, current MA Radiology license, ARRT certification, and BLS-AHA certification. Strong customer service skills and a focus on patient-centered care are important for success in this role.
