This role requires a strong ability to contribute date-driven and experience -driven ideas, actively supporting the execution of strategic initiatives. The position can be located in either Wilkes-Barre, PA, New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Conshohocken, PA, Parsippany, NJ or Atlanta GA. Key ResponsibilitiesLeverages experience in product and / or underwriting to provide strategic input and make actionable recommendations pertaining to line of business focus, including the development of guidelines and product strategies for commercial lines Support portfolio analysis, accepting guidance from Industry Managers on KPIs. Support the design, development and implementation of system and process solutions that align with the line of business specific

with training and marketing to develop communication, training, and marketing materials in support of new or enhanced products and initiatives. May require delivery of training materials or contentOutline post implementation monitoring and measurement mechanisms for line of business specific strategies in support of outlined success criteria.Conduct competitor intelligence research.Ensure alignment between underwriting guidelines and target appetite to maintain profitability.Document, maintain, and version control underwriting guidelines, strategies, and enhancements.Collaborate with Strategic Business Analysis Unit for the purposes of ad-hoc analysis to support strategies, guidelines, and initiativesQualifications5+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance, with a background in underwriting, strategy, analytics, finance and / or consultingWorking knowledge in underwriting property, general liability, auto, workers compensation and / or umbrella.Strong understanding of insurance product development, pricing strategy, and the insurance value chain.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to influence others, including executive leadership, to achieve target outcomesBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related fieldSalary Range$65,000-$120,000.00 USDThe successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required.The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the U.S. and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and / or training.
