Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,486 per week in Saint Joseph, MO

Shifts available are either 5x8 days or 4x10 based on traveler preference. Start times will be at 8 : 00 AM. Call is required one Sunday every five weeks. During weekends, every fifth week, you will take two days off during the week and work on Saturday and Sunday for admissions. You will cover multiple counties and rotate weekly, focusing on areas further away when necessary. When mileage is high and travel time great, fewer patients will be assigned for that day. You will treat a diverse range of patients, mainly dealing with general weakness, back pain, and orthopedic needs. You will conduct admissions, evaluations, reassessments, and discharges primarily. PTAs will handle routine visits. Required skills include utilizing adaptive devices, performing assessments, and providing patient family education. Familiarity with various medical conditions such as COPD, CHF, and post-operative care is essential. You will be expected to maintain proper documentation and ensure patient safety and compliance with care plans. Teamwork with interdisciplinary support staff will be crucial for patient care.
