Compensation & Benefits -

  • Salary : $130,000 – $185,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

    • Job Details

    Responsibilities -

  • Lead and collaborate on project selections and bid strategy
  • Communicate directly with clients throughout the bid process
  • Attend job walks, pre-bid meetings, and business development functions
  • Analyze electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Use estimating software (preferably ACCUBID) to prepare electrical estimates for new construction and remodels
  • Prepare and maintain detailed bid folders, RFI logs, and supplier / subcontractor quote reviews
  • Mentor and support junior estimators, contributing to team growth and development
  • Work with operations and preconstruction teams to ensure thorough, accurate, and timely bids
  • Lead project kick-off and hand-off meetings for awarded jobs
  • Provide value engineering recommendations and cost-saving alternatives
  • Review contracts to ensure alignment with bid scope and company clarifications
  • Support occasional evening events or client functions

    • Qualifications-

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical construction, with estimating experience on projects up to $15M
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and low voltage systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating platforms (ACCUBID preferred)
  • Leadership skills with a team-first mindset
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable working under deadlines and managing multiple bids at once
  • Willingness to commute to project sites as needed
  • Engineering familiarity and understanding of electrical codes preferred
