Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Telemetry Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : 18 months of Medical / Surgical experience License : GA or compact license required Certifications : NIHSS Required, BLS GA or Compact License Must-Have : IV Insertion PICC Line Insertion Telemetry Interpretation Description : Candidate must have 18 months of Medical / Surgical experience. A Georgia or compact license must be in hand. The NIHSS certification is required. BLS certification for Georgia or a compact license is necessary. IV insertion and PICC line insertion skills are mandatory. Telemetry interpretation experience is required. Special procedures performed include lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, NGT feeding, and NFT insertion. Top diagnoses include CHF, COPD, Diabetes Mellitus, Sepsis, Pneumonia, GI Bleed, Altered Mental Status, Hypertension, Renal Failure, and Heart Failure.
