Senior Data Platform Engineer - Fast-Growing YC-Backed Startup

As a rapidly growing Y Combinator company that has achieved 15X growth post-batch, they\'re building the future of telematics data infrastructure. Their platform processes massive amounts of IoT and GPS data to power next-generation insurance and fleet management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data platforms handling terabyte-scale IoT and time-series data
• Build and optimize both streaming and batch data pipelines supporting core product functionality
• Develop real-time data processing systems to handle rapidly growing data volumes
• Create robust storage solutions and data enrichment processes
• Implement comprehensive observability patterns for system monitoring
• Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the platform\'s future
• Write clean, maintainable code in Java and Node.js
