Responsibilities for Director of Community Relations :
Build strong relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and referral sources to drive admissions and maintain census goals.
Represent the center at targeted community events, fairs, and meetings, while planning and facilitating at least two monthly outreach programs.
Develop and execute monthly business and outreach plans using referral and admission trend analysis to guide weekly strategies.
Lead support groups, coordinate advertising opportunities, and oversee social media content showcasing services, testimonials, and community engagement.
Work closely with the Admissions Director to support smooth resident transitions and maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients and families.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while participating in community networking, evening / weekend events, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Director of Community Relations :
College degree preferred, with experience in sales—especially healthcare, long-term care, or pharmaceuticals—strongly desirable.
A solid understanding of healthcare services and the long-term care environment is useful.
Consistently follows all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Drug-Free Workplace standards.
Demonstrates professional conduct, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to resident dignity, safety, and customer service.
Maintains reliable attendance, appropriate grooming, and adherence to safety practices and equal opportunity standards.
