Job Title : Automotive Title Clerk – Wholesale & Retail Focus

Matthews, NC |   Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM (Overtime as needed)

Are you an experienced Automotive Title Clerk looking to join a fast-paced, supportive team? Our dealership in Matthews, NC is looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in wholesale and retail title processing to handle a high volume of transactions and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities :

Handle wholesale title work, billing, and trade payoffs

Process out-of-state title work and ensure proper titling of new and used vehicles

Assist with retail title transactions (350–400 retail, 100 wholesale monthly)

Prepare trade-in documentation and tax / title documents

Contact banks for lien releases and follow up on outstanding title issues

Verify sale costs and transactions per vehicle

Submit accurate paperwork to the tag agency and DMV

Maintain compliance with NCDMV regulations

Support special projects and provide backup accounting help when needed

What We’re Looking For :

3+ years of title clerk experience in an auto dealership or tag agency

Experience with CVR Software (Title-Tec) is a plus

Comfortable with out-of-state title work

Ability to thrive in a busy office environment

High attention to detail and excellent follow-through

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong communication and organizational skills

High school diploma or equivalent required
