Job Description
Position Overview
- Set up operating rooms with surgical instruments, sterile supplies, and equipment
- Assist surgical teams during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining the sterile field
- Perform preoperative and postoperative equipment checks and prepare ORs between cases
- Support accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps per surgical protocol
- Ensure proper handling and labeling of specimens and supplies
- Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to support safe, efficient surgical care
