Job description

The Keller Group is supporting our Phoenix based client in their search for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing finance team. This role will lead advanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of corporate finance and the ability to effectively communicate financial insights to stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results; identify key variances and provide actionable insights.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand financial impacts of business decisions and provide guidance on budget adherence and ROI.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership and executive team on business performance and financial trends.
  • Conduct scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and investment evaluations to support business initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across financial reporting systems and collaborate with accounting to support month-end close activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or public accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Adaptive Insights, PowerBI or Anaplan is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
