80 - $85 Hourly
Full Pay Rate including during orientation period
Our client in Stockton, Ca. is looking for a Registered Nurse to care for their patients in a correctional facility.
- Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
- Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patient's charts.
- Adjust and administer patient's medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physician's orders.
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.).
- Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
- Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants.
- Expand their knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
Requirements
Must have at least 1 year RN experience within the last 3 yearsFull-timeMust have a current and active RN licenseMust have a current and active BLS from American Heart AssociationMust have clean backgroundA valid nursing license.Benefits
