CRNA Job Details – Fort Myers, Florida

Location : Fort Myers, Florida – Leading destination for Florida healthcare jobs

Assignment Type : Locum tenens (contract CRNA position)

Healthcare Setting : Level 2 trauma center with 26 anesthesia rooms

Shifts per Week : 4

Shift Duration : 12-hour days (6 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 36

Case Types : General anesthesia, neuro, ortho (No hearts, peds, or OB unless trauma-related)

Charting System : Epic EMR

Supervision : 4 : 1 CRNA to MD anesthesiologist ratio

On-Call : No in-house or pager call required

CRNA Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program

Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Ability to start promptly after credentialing

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients and families

Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia for general and trauma cases

Monitor and document patients' physiological status during procedures using Epic EMR

Perform clinical interventions as needed and respond to anesthesia-related emergencies

Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
