Productive Forests Specialist

A company is looking for a Productive Forests Specialist - Carbon Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Review and propose methodologies for carbon accounting and monitoring in agroforestry and productive restoration systems

Prepare a technical report to design a carbon accounting and monitoring system, including methodologies, data needs, and cost estimates

Provide training to stakeholders to enhance their capacity in estimating and monitoring emission reductions and carbon capture targets

Required Qualifications

Advanced University degree (master's or equivalent) in relevant fields such as Economics, Finance, or Environmental Management

At least 6 years of professional experience in rural financial inclusion or providing financial services to smallholders and related sectors

Working knowledge of English and Portuguese

Brazilian nationality or resident with a valid work permit
