Community Living Center Medical Director – Full-Time Opportunity

GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center – Jackson, MS

The GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, is seeking a Chief, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), providing up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement for qualified candidates.

Position Highlights :

• Participate in the creation of policies, procedures and guidelines to assure provision of adequate good quality comprehensive services, including procedures for emergency treatment of residents in the CLC.
• Collaborate with CLC management to advise the CLC administration regarding adequacy and appropriateness of scope of service for CLC residents, CLC staffing models, and issues related to cultural transformation.
• Tour of duty (schedule) Monday - Friday 08 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM. Light on-call responsibility
• Salary range : $200,000 - $252,000
