Job descriptionCT Imaging / Radiology Includes : Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Department, Adult ICU Patient population : Adults & Geriatrics Shift types : 8-hour / 10-hour / 12-hour depending on department needs Call requirement : Yes , typically 23 : 00–07 : 30 as needed Float requirement : Yes Weekend requirement : Every other or per unit needs Scheduling model : Block / Self / Other (varies by department) Orientation : Two weeks, 8-hour shifts Imaging performed across : ED, ICU, Inpatient, Outpatient High involvement in emergency and acute imaging Required to independently manage CT workflows, contrast protocols, and patient preparation Stroke and neurological emergencies Cardiac and chest-related conditions Abdominal and pelvic pathology Trauma cases Orthopedic / spine conditions Oncology-related imaging and biopsies CT stroke protocol & CTA CT chest, abdomen, pelvis (with and without contrast) CT heart & calcium scoring CT spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar) Extremity CT studies Facial bones & sinus CT CT-guided biopsies Drainage procedures Chest tube placement imaging support Contrast administration IV starts and venipuncture PACS workflow & image post-processing Post-processing : MPR, MIP, 3D reconstructions, ROI measurements Siemens (required) GE Philips Toshiba PACS systems Emergency Department Respiratory Services Radiology Pharmacy Phlebotomy Physical Therapy Lift Teams Rapid Response Teams Transportation Interpretation Services ARRT (R) ARRT (CT) BLS State Radiology License ACLS (preferred) Minimum 2 years CT experience Experience in acute care & emergency imaging Ability to perform contrast administration independently Experience with biopsies and interventional CT support preferred Must be proficient in image reconstruction and PACS CT Techs work across ED, inpatient, ICU, and outpatient imaging Strong experience with contrast, IV placement, and emergency protocols is required Navy-blue scrubs provided Vision benefits License and certification reimbursement Continuing Education Medical benefits Wellness and fitness programs Dental benefits Guaranteed Hours Mileage reimbursement Referral bonus Bereavement Holiday Pay Sick pay Retention bonus
