Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities :
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plansSupport childrens social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement and positive interactionsPrepare classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean and inviting learning environmentSupervise and provide individualized support to children and foster a sense of belongingAssist in communicating with families about their childs progress and daily activitiesAdhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environmentSupport daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environmentQualifications :
Lead Position : Candidates should have a minimum of six months of experience teaching in a licensed early childhood program, a CDA, or a degree in an education related field.Assistant Position : Experience in an early childhood classroom is a plus but not required.Additional Preferred Qualifications : Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related area and / or a CDA certification.Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training (can be completed after hire)Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, families and faculty members.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of childrenBenefits :
