Hospital, one of the busiest Level III Trauma Centers in the country , is seeking a BE / BC orthopedic surgeon in southern WV. Join a very busy practice located across the street from the hospital. The growing demand for orthopedic services within the community is commonly associated with the aging population, recreational and sports-related accidents. Ideal candidate is eager for a high patient volume and a great practice opportunity.

Position Details :

• Employed position
• General Orthopedics, with an interest in trauma and joints preferred
• Call is shared at 1 : 3 or better
• Flexible office schedule Mon Fri
• OR Block Scheduling
• Strong referral base with service area of 250,000
• J1 visas welcome.
• Will work with one other employed ORS and PA in the practice and also take trauma call. Very busy level III trauma center, verified by the American College of Surgeons.
• Would be required to maintain good working relationship with 1 other independent ORS (traumatologist), in-house IM hospitalists and a number of primary care referral sources.
• The current ORS and PA in the practice are each averaging 50 patients and 20 surgical cases per week.
