Saf-T-Swim Lifeguard Position

As a Saf-T-Swim lifeguard, you are responsible for ensuring the overall safety of all students, patrons, and staff members in and around the pool area. It is your obligation to ensure all rules and regulations are being followed including Saf-T-Swim's swim diaper policy. As a lifeguard, you must be prepared to respond swiftly and professionally in the event of an emergency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant, uninterrupted surveillance of patrons in the pool area using proper 10 / 20 scanning method.
• Act immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of everyone in the pool area in the event of an emergency.
• Provide emergency care treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Prepare and maintain preliminary pool area incident reports for both customers and employees.
• Must always wear a whistle and know how to use it accordingly.
• Check pool equipment for readiness, ex. : Backboard, pool buoy.
• Perform other duties as assigned including required pool maintenance.

Qualifications

Compensation : $15.00 - $19.00 per hour.
