Types of procedures required.Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units Shift or schedule requirements.12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours. Equipment utilized in the unit / dept.Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2-10 years experience Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. BLS, ACLS (Preferred : PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC) Floating to other units / departments. Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions) Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept. Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. Medical 1 : 6 for days and eves, 1 : 8 for nights Laulima 1 : 6 Cardiovascular 1 : 4 Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves Dress Code. Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs Tell us about the unit / department specific training and orientation program. Orientation time provided for each unit Additional arrive the Thursday before start in order to go to employee health appointment on Friday.
