The Senior Inventory Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day activities at the work centers based on consumption of raw stock, intra materials, receipts of finished product and QTY validation. Positions are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.

What you’ll do as a Senior Inventory Specialist :

• Count raw materials, intermediate WIP components, finished goods and non-conforming materials daily
• Utilize ERP software to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity.
• Ensure materials are in the proper location.
• Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory.
• Ensure correct labeling of all products / materials.
• Report discrepancies of over / under amounts and any damaged products to Supervision.
• Publish weekly, quarterly, and annual inventory metrics.
• Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements to eliminate errors.
• Adhere to all company policies, quality standards / procedures, safety procedures, and guidelines.
• Follow up with operators when discrepancies in material are found.
• Work directly with Lead / Supervisor / Manager on solving consumption (backflush) issues.
