Job Summary :
Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing key business functions, driving strategic growth, and ensuring operational excellence within the organization. This role is operating and managing all aspects of the business to ensure operational excellence and drives business performance. In this role you will be a leader, committed to delivering exceptional client and guest operations. You will ensure smooth day-to-day operations for our clients and employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining service standards, managing staff, optimizing operational efficiency, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring client satisfaction across assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership & Vision :
- Lead market expansion, innovation, and competitive positioning initiatives
- Assess industry trends and adapt strategies to stay ahead of market changes
- Lead cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and scalability
- Ensure alignment of departmental objectives with overall corporate strategy
- Help ownership team develop and execute long-term business strategies aligned with company goals
- Assist ownership team to establish a clear vision and mission to drive company culture and performance
Business Operations & Performance :
Oversee daily operations and ensure operational efficiency across all departmentsDrive innovation, process improvements, and digital transformation effortsImplement effective risk management strategies to safeguard business interestsOversee daily business operations and ensure streamlined processesSet & Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiencyOptimize company resources to improve productivity and cost-effectivenessFoster a culture of continuous improvement and innovationFinancial Management & Profitability :
Collaborate with the CFO & COO to develop & manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planningEnsure fiscal management & profitability through revenue growth and cost-control initiativesAssess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate themLeadership & Organizational Development :
Recruit, build and lead a high-performing executive team to ensure leadership continuityFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementProvide strong leadership to department heads and key personnelPromote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performanceVendor and Third-Party Software Management :
Manage and support the daily operations of multiple locations, ensuring all processes align with company standards ensure operational efficiencyCollaborate with vendors on creating employee accounts, invoicing, and payroll processingManage vendor accounts in NextCrew, Fieldglass, Simplify, SimplyVMS, Work Records, Beeline, or other third-party platforms to track hours, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate informationStrengthen and grow partnerships with clients identifying opportunities to grow revenueLead and develop on-site managers and staff, ensuring consistent service quality and engagementQualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree or 8-10 years of hospitality management at hotel or hospitality property management groupStrong financial acumen and experience with P&L managementExperience in staffing operations, client management and employee relationsProven track record of driving operational efficiencies and revenue growthStrategic thinker with the ability to execute company vision effectivelyKnowledge of emerging trends in technology and guest services5-7 years’ experience managing a multi-site teamMust be flexible to travel up to 50% of timeStrong leadership, problem-solving, team building and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProven ability to drive revenue growth, innovation, and operational excellence
