A Day in the Life :

As an experienced Tax Specialist, you will empower clients to make informed decisions regarding their finances. Building trustful relationships will not only enhance client satisfaction but ensure their ongoing loyalty.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct tax interviews with clients through in-person meetings and virtual platforms including video, phone, chat, and email.
• Accurately prepare and complete tax returns.
• Drive business growth by increasing client retention and offering additional services / products.
• Assist clients with IRS inquiries and support.
• Provide tax notice services, regardless of certification level.
• Offer audit representation if you hold Circular 230 status.
• Mentor and provide guidance to fellow teammates.
• Successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Have a background in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience preparing individual tax returns.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with virtual communication tools.
• Effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.
• Meet IRS and state requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
