JOB SUMMARY
Performs radiographic examination on patients of all age populations, contributing to the efficient operation of the physician practice and promoting Hamilton Medical Center's philosophy, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care. Assists clinical and support staff with patient care procedures. May function in medical assisting capacity with physician or nurse practitioner. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and assess data reflective of the patients current status in relation to their age specific needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education : American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is preferred. Must be graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation Radiologic Technology program.(E)
Licensure : Current CPR certification
Experience : Prior experience preferred, physician practice or urgent care experience also preferred.
Skills : Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization. Ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients needs that are age appropriate. Ability to select proper instrumentation / supplies appropriate for age group of patient served.(E).
