Job Description

A hospital in Essex County, New Jersey is seeking a Board-Certified OB / GYN for locum coverage in its Labor & Delivery unit. Coverage is needed two nights per week ongoing.

Responsibilities :

Cover Labor & Delivery unit during overnight shifts
Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries, D&C, laparoscopy, and laparotomy
Work alongside 3 residents and 1 midwife
Average 3-5 deliveries per shift, with 0-1 cesarean sections
EMR documentation via Epic

Qualifications :

Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Experience in inpatient labor and delivery care

Comfortable working in a teaching environment with residents and midwives

Eligible for full, temporary, or emergency hospital privileges
