Job descriptionUnderstand project needs and requirements at nascent stages, in ambiguous scenarios, to define research goals Identify the appropriate research method and recruit target audience to achieve research goals Prioritize and plan iterative usability testing to gather critical feedback about current state and validate design concepts against user needs and business goals Conduct moderated and unmoderated testing, including developing testing protocols, discussion guides and analysis plans to identify key user needs and experience improvements Analyze research findings to translate them into insights connected to user needs, product goals, available quantitative data, existing research, competitor analysis, and secondary research as key inputs into product and design improvements Partner closely with product managers, designers, and developers, to integrate research findings into the product design and development process. Advocate for the user and ensure that research insights inform product and design decisions Effectively communicate research strategies, methodologies, insights, and recommendations to client, account, and project teams Apply user-centered design principles and accessibility standards to inform and evaluate existing and proposed designs Continuously identify opportunities to improve design and research approach to optimize the speed, accuracy, and value of research by staying up to date on latest UX research tools, methodologies, and best practices Masters / Bachelors degree in psychology, behavioural science, anthropology, human-computer interaction or related design discipline 1-3 years of qualitative design research experience with demonstrated success driving tangible outcomes in a non-academic setting; Healthcare industry experience preferred Experience using different UX research methods, including the following : remote and in-person usability testing, heuristic evaluation, task analysis, survey design, persona and journey map definition, and co-creation workshops Proficiency with UX research tools (e.g., UserZoom / UserTesting, Contentsquare, Medallia, Pendo) and familiarity with prototyping tools a plus (e.g, Figma, vibe coding platforms) Understanding of human-centered design principles and accessibility standards; experience with assistive technology a plus
