The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care while also assisting with clinic operations, supervising therapy aides, PTAs, and students (as applicable), and serving as a liaison with patients, physicians, and staff.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor delivery of patient services, including forecasting needs based on patient load, staffing levels, and regulatory requirements.
• Recruit, supervise, and direct staff in collaboration with leadership to ensure efficient operations and excellent patient care.
• Provide input for staff performance reviews.
• Maintain clinic physical space and equipment.
• Assist in budget planning to support high-quality patient care.
• Participate in meetings, special projects, and collaborative efforts with leadership and clinical staff.
• Perform and document initial evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs to restore function, alleviate pain, and promote independence.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and referring providers on treatment planning and progress.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care to continue at home.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
