Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and treatment
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records
• Provide patient education and instructions

Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required; FMG preferred

Completion of a medical assistant program or certification preferred

2+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus

Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

Proficiency in electronic health record systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
