This 528-bed tertiary care hospital features a 26-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) that serves as a critical care step-down unit. The facility provides evidence-based care for patients requiring more specialized attention than general medical-surgical units can offer. The unit receives patients from various areas including the Emergency Department, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and medical-surgical floors, with a focus on pulmonary patients. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
