DevOps Cloud Tech Support Specialist

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Cloud Tech Support Specialist. The candidate will support FAA development tenants with the integration, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud environments, ensuring operational efficiency, system reliability, and compliance with FAA standards. This role bridges operations and development teams by automating workflows, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing solutions to enhance continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipelines using modern DevOps tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Terraform, and Ansible. This position requires a shifted daily schedule to end at 8 : 00PM Eastern time.

Job Duties & Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to) :

• Provide DevOps support for FAA applications and systems, including deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI / CD pipelines with GitLab CI / CD, GitHub Actions, or similar automation tools.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning, configuration, and environment management.
• Support version control and code management practices using GitLab and GitHub.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, application errors, and infrastructure outages in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Respond to service desk tickets related to technical cloud support, providing troubleshooting and resolution in a timely manner.
• Assist with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent technologies.
• Work closely with system engineers, developers, and cybersecurity teams to resolve technical issues and maintain compliance with security requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configuration, support runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide Tier 2 / 3 technical support for infrastructure, automation tools, and development environments.

Compensation (Pay Bands)

Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as (but not limited to) education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40 hour / week status. Part-time staff receive compensation at an hourly rate. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of LSTs total compensation package for employees.
