Job Description
The Banquet Setup is responsible for following details that are specified on the Banquet Event Orders. He / she is expected to have superior service skills in dealing with clients, guest, and co-workers.
Banquet Setup works to create the perfect atmosphere for events and meetings. The setup team member is responsible for set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of meeting and banquet rooms according to company standards.
Your Day-To-Day
- Comply and promote LodgeWorks standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards as required by scheduling, which varies according to hotel needs.
- Read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and follow instructions from Banquet Manager and / or Captain.
- Participate in setting up events including moving tables, setting tables and chairs, buffet set-up, bar set-up, equipment for audio visual.
- Ensure all meeting and event rooms are prepared for clients / guests at requested time by the Banquet Mgr / Captain.
- Maintain open communication with the Banquet Manager / Captain, letting them know of any changes or guests request.
- Organizes and cleans banquet storage areas.
- Vacuums meeting and banquet rooms.
- Shampoos meeting and banquet rooms.
- Assist in clean up and break down after the event.
- Assist in any other task or duties as requested by management.
