Physician / Texas / Locum or Permanent / Maternal-Fetal Medicine Job

We take care of you, so you can take care of others. VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Maternal-Fetal Medicine. City : Lubbock State : TX Start Date : Pending Privileges End Date : TBD Description : LOCUM- Maternal Fetal Medicine REOPENING position to align with more reasonable start date expectations. Also updating patient count and expectations. - Provider will see 8-10 consults about maybe less depending on volume but will be expected to complete ultrasound reads per day as well (upwards of about 40 a day but this can be flexible.) Friday-Sunday is structured differently, Friday it is 7 ultrasound reads and 3 consults then on weekend call. We are looking for one provider to cover 1 week a month. They will be responsible for both call and clinic during this week. Clinic will be 8am-5pm on weekdays (including call responsibility) Night Call : 5pm-8am on weekdays Weekend Call : 7am-7am PLEASE NOTE call during clinic hours will be included in the regular hourly rate. Then night call will apply once clinic has ended. The weekends will be a standard 24 hour call schedule. Privileging will take 60-90 days so we can not start a provider until December. Provider must have TX License or IMLC license. Must be BC or BE within 5 years of residency. TX DEA 1099 Pay Rate : Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request) Certification Requirements : Please confirm credential requirements with VHS upon application.
