St. Elizabeth Hospital, located in Fort Morgan, Colorado, is a Level 3 Trauma Center and an American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center serving northeastern Colorado. Providing care through-out the region, St. Elizabeth Hospital provides cardiology, maternal, emergency, surgical, pediatrics, and acute care inpatient services in addition to the multitude of subspecialists in our specialty clinic. At 50 beds, St. Elizabeth is the region’s referral center serving a wide span of northeastern Colorado. Since 1952, St. Elizabeth has been serving the community in Morgan County which is one of the most diverse counties in Colorado speaking more than 28 languages.

The Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant will act as an independent clinician and will be consulted by physicians to offer assistance to patients when habits, behaviors, stress, worry, or emotional concerns about physical or other life problems are interfering with daily life and / or overall health. Highlights of the position include the opportunity to work closely with medical professionals including PCPs and psychiatrists while independently diagnosing and treating patients using evidence-based psychosocial interventions such as CBT, motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, problem-solving, and distress tolerance. This position offers a gratifying blend of both therapist and case manager duties, and is engaging, dynamic, team-based, challenging, and community-oriented. Additionally, our Integrated Behavioral Health Program is rapidly expanding, so the ideal candidate will take advantage of the many opportunities available to shape the future of Integrated Behavioral Health.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following :

Medium Work - exert / lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and / or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and / or up to 10 lbs. constantly.

This role works within the St. Elizabeth facility Monday to Friday 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm. We are looking for a licensed clinician that has 2-3 years experience within pediatrics. We are excited to receive the grant funding that will allow us to provide this service to the community.
