Your Role and Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced radiographic and CT techniques to produce top-quality diagnostic images for clinical evaluation
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and your medical team to ensure accurate assessments
- Expertly position patients and calibrate imaging equipment for maximum effectiveness
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to safeguard both patients and colleagues
- Keep detailed and organized records, including maintenance logs for imaging equipment
- Deliver compassionate care throughout the imaging process, ensuring patient comfort
- Contribute to a well-organized and efficient imaging environment
Required Education
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageousCompletion of a radiology program accredited by the appropriate agencyNecessary Certifications
ARRT certification (CT and / or Radiography) is requiredCurrent BLS certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employmentKey Skills and Attributes
