Position Overview
Southern Avenue Charter Elementary School is seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Part-Time Grant Writer to research, develop, and write grant proposals that support our mission and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will work closely with the school leadership team to secure funding opportunities from federal, state, local, and private sources. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about education and experienced in nonprofit or education-based grant writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with the school’s mission, programs, and strategic initiatives.
- Write compelling, well-researched grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports for submission to public and private funders.
- Maintain a grant calendar to track application deadlines, reporting requirements, and funding cycles.
- Collaborate with school administrators and staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
- Ensure timely submission of grant applications and compliance with all grant requirements.
- Track awarded grants and assist in the preparation of interim and final reports to funders.
- Maintain organized records of past submissions, contacts, and funder feedback.
Position Details
Work Schedule : Part-time, flexible hours (approx. 10–20 hours per week in the building).Location : Hybrid (remote with occasional on-site meetings at SACS).Compensation : Commensurate with experience.To Apply

Qualifications
