Diesel Mechanic (2+ years of experience required)

Pioneer Tank Lines is a family-owned and growing company specializing in the safe transportation of hazardous materials and hazardous waste. We prioritize a safe and supportive work environment for our employees. Our expanding fleet currently includes 35+ tractors and over 120 trailers.

We are seeking self-motivated mechanics to join our team. Ideal candidates should be able to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment. Some overtime may be required.

Pay ranges from $28 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.

This position is open to technicians of all experience levels.

Shift Hours :

• Middle shift : 9 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
• Service and repair trucks and trailers
• Conduct DOT inspections on trucks and trailers
• Maintain general shop cleanliness and organization
• Perform electrical diagnostics and wiring
• Complete minor fabrication work
• Troubleshoot driveline issues and perform repairs
• Diagnose and repair minor engine problems
• Troubleshoot emissions systems
• Knowledge of hydraulics is preferred but not required
• Perform A / C diagnostics and repairs (preferred but not required)

Experience :

• Cummins Diesel engine repair : 1 year (Preferred)
• Tractor Trailer Repair : 1 year (Preferred)

License / Certification :
