Job description

Operations Supervisor

We anticipate the application window for this opening will close on - 30 October 2025. We're looking for a proactive, hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead our 1st shift assembly operations at the Plymouth Nathan Lane facility. In this role, you'll provide direct leadership and support to a team of 50 employees, driving production and quality across three key products - Abre, HawkOne, and MVP - in our Peripheral Vascular Health portfolio. You'll be responsible for fostering a collaborative team environment, promoting operational excellence, and ensuring that our manufacturing goals are met safely, efficiently, and with a focus on continuous improvement. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
  • Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
  • Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct / indirect labor.
  • Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
  • Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
  • Management skills : Management of financial and material resources, critical thinking, project management, management of personnel resources, collaboration and productivity software, effective communication skills.
  • Functional skills : Machining and manufacturing technologies, proficient computer skills, data science and analysis, lean manufacturing and continued improvement, managing quality.

Minimum requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of production environment experience.
  • Nice to have :

  • 5+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supervising manufacturing staff, handling all aspects of talent management, including hiring, coaching, scheduling, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Work experience with the following : FDA Quality System Regulations, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), ISO 13485, ISO 9001 standards or equivalent.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $81,600.00 - $122,400.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification / education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week : Health, dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance / reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program). The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees : Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums). Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
