Dishwashers at the Whitewater Center are responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment in a high-volume restaurant environment. Dishwashers must also keep the dish area and equipment sanitary and organized. Dishwashers are on-site, and can either be hired as full-time hourly, benefits eligible employees or part-time hourly employees reporting directly to the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities

• Safely clean, organize, and maintain dishes and dish station equipment.
• Load, run, and unload the dish machine.
• Immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to the Executive Chef.
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designated times.
• Fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation within the kitchen.
• Other duties as assigned.

Whitewater is home to diverse and ever-evolving food and beverage outlets, including full-service and fast-casual dining options. In addition, the Food and Beverage Department oversees catering for private events and Adventure Dining.
